Discovery Dive World offers a choice of two quality Destin Dive Charter services with outstanding service and friendliness. A dive master is aboard each these boats to provide expertise and guidance in order to make your dive trip as safe and enjoyable as possible.

Oriskany Dive Trips Available
To help you choose which boat suits your needs best, here's some information on the charters...

The Miss Teak is 32 ft. long with a 12ft beam.

The boat is a Coast Guard Certified Inspected vessel equipped with many safety features, including: GPS and Loran navigation systems, a marine radio, a non-portable oxygen tank for diving emergencies, fire extinguishers, life jackets for all passengers and crew, a life boat and an Emergency-Positioning-Indicating-Radio-Beacon (E. P. I. R. B.).
The diving platform allows for an easy giant stride or sit down entry into the water and once you are in the water, we have numerous lines to help you on the surface should there be any current and a drop line is lowered to 15-20 feet to aid you in your safety stops.
Comfort features include a marine head and hot water showers.

From Hwy 98 in Destin, travel west across the Destin bridge, across the island and continue across the Brooks bridge. About one mile past the Brooks bridge and directly across the street from the Ft Walton Bch City Hall, turn left into the Crab Shack. The boat is docked at the Crab Shack.
The Reel Bent is 19'6" long with an 8'6" beam
The Reel Bent is a Cape Horn Boat, Off-Shore, Center Console Vessel. If you ask a Cape Horn owner, they will tell you that there is no tougher boat in its class. Reel Bent is equipped with GPS, Loran-C, VHF, and EPIRB. For diving trips, emergency O2 is installed.

Directions to Destin Boarding Location
For our Destin charters we pick-up at Marler Park or Joes bayou.
For Joe’s Bayou (From Destin): head west on Hwy 98. Turn right (north) onto Calhoun Ave just before the Destin bridge. (Calhoun is on the east side of the bridge). Stay straight on Calhoun and it will turn into Sibert Ave. Stay straight on Sibert and it will turn into First St. You will see the Boat launch at the end of First St.
For Marlor Park (From Destin): Head west on hwy 98. You will take a left at the light that is immediately on the Destin side (south end) of the Brooks Bridge. You will then take an immediate right in front of The Tom Thumb gas station. This road will lead you around, back under the bridge to the east side of the bridge. Take a left at that light in front of Alvin's Island gift shop. You will then pass several bars and the road will dead end at the park entrance. Drive into the park until you see the boat launch.

Directions to Pensacola Boarding Location
For Pensacola Charters, we pick up at Shoreline Park in Gulf Breeze.
From Pensacola: Travel south on Hwy 98 (across the Pensacola Bay), As Hwy 98 begins to bend left (towards the east), turn right at the light onto Shoreline Drive.… once you are on Shorline drive you will come into the park area. You will see sports complex on the north side of the road. look to the south and you will see only one road across from the sports complex. Take this road down through the wooded area and it will lead you to the boat launch.
From Destin: Travel west on Hwy 98. As Hwy 98 begins to bend right (towards the North), turn left at the light onto Shoreline Drive…once you are on Shoreline drive you will come into the park area. You will see a sports complex on the north side of the road. Look to the south and you will see only one road across from the sports complex. Take this road down through the wooded area and it will lead you to the boat launch.

| A Reel Bent waiver form is required before boarding the boat. If you do not have the means to print this waiver, you can obtain one from the captain when you show for your trip. |

| Fishing licenses are provided. Divers must provide all gear to include tanks. Spear Fishing is allowed on all charters unless specifically chartered as a no-spear fishing dive.
Required Diving Equipment. All divers will have…
1. serviceable dive equipment (mask, fins, B.C. regulator, tanks, snorkel, weights, wet suit, booties)
2. regulator with two second stages(Primary and Octopus).
3. Dive Knife.
4. Dive timing device like a wrist watch or dive computer
5. dive tables from your certification agency.
6. diver Certification Card.
7. visual and audible signaling device. (Whistle and Safety Sausage)
8. completed waiver form.
Additional items for Night dives. All night divers will have…
1. two dive lights
2. two glow sticks or similar devices to be attached to your tank valve and gauge console.
